These events, taking place from June 13 to June 16, 2025 embody our vision to empower the Black community, champion racial justice, and drive meaningful change in Greater Greenville.

Our mission is to break barriers, amplify Black voices, and build equity and economic strength while fostering bridges of understanding and solidarity across all communities. Juneteenth GVL embodies a tradition of collaboration through both practice and advocacy.

With your partnership, we aim to provide educational scholarships, support our community of veterans, address critical systemic barriers—particularly in healthcare—and celebrate the rich cultural heritage that Juneteenth represents.

Your organization’s support will enable us to expand and deepen our transformative initiatives, which include:

Friday – Juneteenth GVL Royal Gala (June 13)

A prestigious event celebrating leaders and advocates while raising awareness for equity and empowerment. The evening includes the crowning of Mr. and Miss Juneteenth, who receive educational scholarships to support their future endeavors. 

Saturday – Juneteenth GVL Wellness Event (June 14)

A dynamic community gathering featuring workshops, panel discussions, and educational outreach designed to elevate health awareness and reduce disparities. Attendees, including underserved populations and Black veterans, gain access to health screenings, consultations, and culturally competent care providers.

Sunday – Juneteenth Freedom Ride (June 15)

A community celebration showcasing Black contributions to automotive and motorcycling culture through storytelling, historical reflections, and technological showcases.

Monday – Juneteenth GVL Homeownership Empowerment Initiative: “Keys to Freedom” (June 16)

By fostering conversations, offering resources, and celebrating freedom through economic empowerment, this initiative will contribute meaningfully to a more inclusive and equitable path toward homeownership.
