Sponsorships

This is more than a celebration. This is the work of freedom.

Juneteenth GVL exists to turn history into impact: through scholarships, wellness initiatives, and homeownership pathways that serve real people across Greenville.

We are reaching communities that have been overlooked, under-resourced, and ready for change.

And in a time where access, equity, and opportunity are still uneven, this work is not optional. It is necessary.

We don’t just gather to remember.
We build so others can move forward.

HERE’S HOW YOU CAN BE PART OF THE WORK

RECEIPTS

Over the past five years, this is what we’ve built together:

  • More than $20,000 donated to not-for-profit organizations
  • More than $20,000 awarded in educational scholarships
  • A $10,000 investment from Juneteenth GVL to support community building and homeownership access
  • A landmark partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County for the inaugural Juneteenth Community Build in 2025

In 2025, Habitat Greenville and Juneteenth GVL came together to launch the first-ever Juneteenth Community Build in the historic Nicholtown neighborhood. As part of Habitat’s Bridge Building Series, the project began with a wall-raising ceremony on June 11, 2025, honoring freedom, economic empowerment, and equity in housing.

This was bigger than building a house. It was about building community, resilience, and wealth through homeownership in a historically Black neighborhood. It also became a visible reminder of what is possible when people from different backgrounds come together around something that matters.

This isn’t potential. This is proven impact.
